Its lessons are Becoming a Lifeguard, Hazard Identification and Accident Prevention, Emergency Action Plans, Emergency Response, First Aid and Emergency Care, CPR and Cardiac Emergencies, and Waterfront Lifeguarding.

Does the course cover NARCAN and AED use?

Yes. The First Aid and Emergency Care lesson includes topics on how to use NARCAN Nasal Spray and an AUVI-Q, and the CPR and Cardiac Emergencies lesson includes 3D visualizations of what happens inside the body during CPR and when an AED is used, plus a CPR chart.
